hey, does anyone out in the deviant world know anything about scanning watercolors? i think because the paint is opaque and the paper is textured, the scans turn out absolutely atrocious! look at the art [Grace Done]. the background looks super chunky and choppy and her hair is so stringy and the necklace and earing are different colors than i painted them. i downloaded GIMP(kinda like a super cheap photoshop), and i can adjust the levels and use blur, which helps a little, but the scans still look so terrible compared to the original. so does anyone know the proper thing to do? if i can't figure it out, i'll just use a good digital camera for pics, so its not a big deal, really.
